Our Business

Books by Elzah was established in 2003 with the publication of 'Country Gal a Foreign' by Vjange Hazle. In 2007, the short novel 'Mariana' by Vjange Hazle was published to high acclaim.

Owner Vangella 'Vjange Hazle' Buchanan was born in Jamaica and migrated to the United States in 1989. A graduate of Mico Teachers' College in Jamaica, she has written and published numerous short stories and poems. Her collection of stories, 'Country Gal a Foreign' for which she did the illustrations, was published in 2003. Her short novel, Mariana was published in 2007. Her second novel 'The Dark Side of Darkness' was published in 2009 and 'My Father and Other Disasters' was published in 2010. This self-published author holds a B.A in English and an M.A. in Communication.
